I am never going to get this thing finished. I keep getting distracted or have a brain drain and mess up over and over and over...AARGH! However, I must just say the Elsebeth Lovold holds up to frequent trips to Frogtown. It looks as good as new. Unfortunately, I don't.

I feel your pain... my solution has been to only knit this pattern when no one else is home... or when my boyfriend is playing computer games.
Otherwise I mess it up. And I also place a stitch marker on a stitch in row #1 so I can easily figure out which row I'm supposed to be knitting. I'm about 8 repeats in and so far so good this time :)

Very true. I cannot be distracted when knitting rows 5 7 and 9, or everything goes to crap.
Once you knit a bit on it though it gets much easier
