Frog City

:(
I had to frog my scarf. Thankfully, I still hadn't gotten very far, but it was still very "grrr."

I'll try again as soon as possible, but I think I'm going to take a break, while I figure out how to make sure I read the correct row when I'm on it. *grin* :)

I love seeing everyone's pictures! There are lots of lovely scarves out there. :)

Aw, so sorry about the frogging. I use a sticky note under the line I am currently knitting to keep my place. I just move it up after each row.

Don't give up!

I was at least 2/3 of the way through mine before the pattern suddenly "clicked". After that, while I still had to concentrate hard, it was much easier.

Are you using the written pattern or the chart? I thought the chart would harder, but I "color-coded" it for myself and it made everything so much easier.

I was using the written pattern - maybe trying it with the chart would be helpful. I also like the post-it idea. :)

The pattern itself is easy, but I started on a wrong row, realized it, ripped that row out, started over and half the row woul dbe the correct row, the other half would be the one above or below it. :/

Thanks for the encouragement! :D

Do try the chart next time. It really is easier to tell at a glance what to do next. Especially if you have that sticky note under the correct line of the chart!
