A Three-peater
Hi Everyone,
I've been enjoying watching everyone's Branching Outs come into being. It's amazing how much variation there is within a single pattern. I finally finished mine this week, after three months. You are all clearly faster knitters. :-) I used Madil All-Seasons, and was afraid that my scarf would be too narrow, so I added an extra leaf on each side (details on my blog).

That is gorgeous! Very clever of you to add an extra leaf on each side. How many stitches did you have to cast on?
Count the non-blank squares on the fifth (top) row of the chart, and then add the border. So, in this case, 29 plus the border on each side.

I love the colour you've used, and the extra leaf. You've done such a great job at tweaking the lace pattern! Congrats!

The extra leaf really does make a difference. I love it! I may have to consider this if I ever make another one.
