Of course she did. I have great plans to knit one for myself - I did my mom's back for Mother's day, but I never get around to it! I even have the yarn for it!
I hope to be able to post the same comment for Christmas. I am blocking my scarf as I type (waiting for it to dry!) :)
I just finished mine and I actually steam-ironed mine too. It worked just fine!
