Here's My Second One, Too!
I offered to make a scarf for a friend and showed her pictures of seven different options and she chose Branching Out and wanted it in black. I wanted to make sure I would make something she would love!

That's the best kind of gift... something the recipient would love. I'll bet she'll love the scarf.
How was it knitting with black? I have some black Baby Silk yarn which I haven't tried knitting up, but the last Branching Out scarf I knitted was with a very dark blue, and boy was it hard to see my stitches, especially when making corrections!
My first one was in a dark blue, too! I had no problems with the black yarn. I used bamboo needles, so it was easy to see my stitches. And I only worked on it for a few minutes at a time so I didn't lose focus-I think I only screwed up a couple of times!
