Intro and Progress

I just joined the kntialong, but I thought I'd post my progress thus far. I am using Blue Sky Alpaca in New Pink and US 10's (the yarn is thicker than the pattern suggests and I am a notoriously tight knitter). So far I am about 4 repeats in because this is my first lace project and I really have to concentrate on what I am doing. In this picture it is laying on the keyboard of my 12" Apple Powerbook (to give you an idea of the actual preblocked width).
