I'm making progress...

After two restarts on the Alpaca fingering weight yarn in midnight black, I dropped it for this wonderful Bamboo yarn by SWTC, in Tequila. I'm loving it. Working with this yarn has made a huge diffence for this pattern and myself to work together. I was sooooo frustrated with the Alpaca. I will use Bamboo yarn again in the future.

Good knitting to you...

Oh wow, that's cool! I have a leftover ball of this yarn in the same colorway! I was worried that it wouldn't hold a lace pattern because it's so slippery, but you've proven me wrong!! I'll probably be blatantly copying you now. :)

I loooove this color! I made a feather and fan shawl out of this color a while ago, but I never even thought of making my "branching out" with it. I have about 125 yds. left, so maybe a small one? My branching out, which I finished a while ago and still haven't gotten around to posting, was made with bamboo, too, except it was classic elite bamboo.
